I love surfing the web to find the latest and greatest natural building techniques, how-to videos, new inventions, blogs, stories, books, you name it; just wanted to share a few of those I felt people would enjoy. If you have any suggestions PLEASE share with us and we will post it! - This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

http://www.globalpost.com/dispatch/global-green/091210/green-yemen-houses?page=0,0 - A great article a friend sent to me (thanks Rebecca!)      "In Yemen, 800-year-old houses provide all the comfort of a modern, cutting-edge structure."

http://tinyhouseblog.com - "The goal of the tiny house blog is to discover the different options available for a person looking to down size into a tiny house or cabin. I will be looking at different type of construction, from logs, to yurts to modern and the unusual. I will also do book reviews, look at alternate energy for heat and electricity." - Kent Griswold - Blog Developer

About Us

Our goal is to help lower the environmental impact of the homes and lives of those living in the greater Rochester area. To reach that goal we provide workshops in sustainability, promote local green events, provide a free local resource in sustainable information, and create connections to other green organizations throughout New York. We hope we will be the first stop on your journey to a deeper understanding of sustainability.
